You are now ready to begin the next step and conduct a trial of the ARROW® VPS G4 Device. Please discuss all details of your trial with your Sales Representative, Key Account Manager or Clinical Specialist. They will discuss the best options at your facility to ensure success.

To continue your education, your Sales Representative, Key Account Manager or Clinical Specialist will demonstrate the procedure to set up the ARROW® VPS G4 Device for trial at bedside, and allow you time to use the system yourself.

Please complete this education by answering the following questions.

  1. Where is the ideal central catheter tip location?
  2. Adduction (lowering of the arm) causes the catheter to become lower or higher in the SVC?
  3. What is considered to be the "heart's natural pacemaker"?
  4. Doppler measures blood flow and velocity within the vessel?
  5. With the ARROW®VPS G4 Device, you are able to detect arterial and azygous placements?
  6. A clinician is expected to achieve proper tip placement at the lower 1/3 SVC- CAJ when a steady Blue Bullseye is obtained in 98.4% of cases.
